HELLO FRIENDS and WELCOME to my home town! :) As a San Francisco Bay Area native, I'm passionate about sharing the very best of my home with guests. We are blessed to have some of the most beautiful scenery and dynamic culture in the world. I've been a Certified Guide and Tour Director for +12 YEARS. I can honestly say my education, enthusiasm and unique vehicle set me apart from other guides in the area. My guests especially enjoy visiting the areas most memorable locations from the back seat of a beautiful, fully loaded TESLA MODEL X SUV. The Teslas are such a fun and stylish cars to spend the day in. I'm also happy to demo many of the exciting (and constantly evolving) new tech features that make these vehicles so unique! Trained as a teacher, I believe we enjoy learning most through good stories! Eventually I left the classroom and now combine my love of teaching and travel to serve visitors coming to San Francisco, Silicon Valley, Muir Woods and Wine Country. When I'm not home, I also lead guests in Yosemite and Sequoia National Parks and Europe for a 5-star global tour operator (so I know good service! ;) In my free time, I enjoy cooking classes, taking day-trips, and hiking with my 2 rescue dogs. A true San Franciscan at heart, the two things that get me out of bed in the morning are fresh-roasted coffee and warm sourdough bread. If you want to know where to eat well in the area, I'm happy to share recommendations with all my guests, as well as share tips and tricks for your independent exploration time! Muir Woods is hands-down my FAVORITE place to take visitors. Its not an exaggeration to say I've walked the Redwoods over 100 times, and its still just as magical as it was when I was a little girl. The cool air smells amazing and you can barely see the crowns of the trees (they are SO tall!). The look of wonder on guest's faces still gives me "warm fuzzies. " This is also a place I know and love VERY well. The "tree-hugger" in me prides myself on providing park ranger-caliber commentary to interest, entertain and inform guests of ALL ages. There's truly something for everyone in this park. �� Sausalito is a charming seaside hamlet along the shore of Richardson Bay, popular with yachters, cyclists, outdoor enthusiasts, and art lovers. Stroll along the waterfront, window shop and perhaps stop for a sweet treat. You'll be traveling in style in a new fully-loaded all-electric Tesla Model X SUV. This ultra-cool luxury vehicle offers fun state of the art features and best in class safety ratings.
Your San Francisco tour itinerary
On this half-day driving tour, you'll experience Muir Woods National Monument, an ancient grove just a short drive outside San Francisco. This very special old-growth forest is one of the remaining 3% of Sequoia Sempervirens remaining! First we'll head north across the Golden Gate Bridge, travel into cool canyons and climb hilltop chaparral. Upon arrival, we'll stroll along Redwood Creek in an old-growth forest of giants. After filling our lungs with conifer-perfumed air and coastal mist, we'll return to civilization and the charming seaside hamlet of Sausalito to stroll the waterfront, explore secret houseboat neighborhoods or indulge in their famous waterfront cafes, iced cream shops and galleries. Time allowing we may also make "bonus" stops at some off-the-beaten track spots to take photos of the Pacific Ocean, San Francisco skyline, Richardson Bay, and the iconic Golden Gate Bridge.
