Hello! My name is Garth, and I’ve been a passionate nature enthusiast since I was young. I’ve spent most of my life exploring the beauty of the outdoors, hiking through stunning landscapes, and camping under starry skies. My deep connection with nature drives my passion for sharing these incredible experiences with others. When I’m not guiding tours, you’ll likely find me hiking new trails, studying Native American & indigenous cultures, camping & creating personal development videos. I believe that nature provides an unmatched sense of peace, and I love helping others connect with the earth in meaningful ways. As a Tour Guide & avid hiker, I’ve been fortunate enough to guide other travellers through some of the most breathtaking areas of Utah and beyond. My journey as a guide began out of a love for the land and a desire to share the magic of our region with people from all walks of life. I offer a variety of nature tours, but my favourite experiences to lead are those that provide an immersion into the beautiful nature that allows people to truly feel connected to the environment. From the stunning red rock formations and hidden mountain trails, to Antelope Island, there’s so much to explore! My tours in Southern & Northern Utah, particularly near Antelope Island, are a unique blend of natural beauty and cultural heritage. I bring a deep respect for the land and share traditional Native American knowledge throughout my tours. Whether you’re marvelling at the wide-open desert skies or learning about the sacred significance of certain landscapes, I strive to offer a truly immersive experience. I aim to help visitors appreciate the richness of this region, from its geological wonders to its cultural depth. Whether you’re seeking a peaceful day of nature or a deeper connection to the history and culture of the land, I’m here to guide you. Together, we’ll create lasting memories while exploring the incredible natural wonders of Utah. I look forward to helping you discover the beauty and spirit of this land.

The Bonneville Salt Flats are a unique geological wonder seen in very few places around the world, although they have been seen in movies! The Flats have an amazing history in Film and Land Speed Records. On this tour, which, I'll share some amazing geological facts about the salt flats, such as how their formation occurred as well as their relationship to The Great Salt Lake. With 12 miles long and 5 miles wide, Bonneville's are one of only 50 salt flats across the entire world. You’ve never seen anything like them and we’ll do a flat, easy mile-long out & back walk onto this extraordinary geological wonder together! Also, the expansive wilderness and drive to the Salt Flats is simply incredible. The Salt Flats dry in the summer and are typically wet in the winter. When wet, it's often calm, sending mirror like reflections of the mountains in the background. If it's wet, we'll bring our gum boots to walk out into the flats. The photo opportunities & views are endless!
·After picking you up from Salt Lake City, we'll drive towards the Great Salt Lake State Park. Photos here are truly great! ·After exploring the flats, we'll drive back to Salt Lake City.
