On this half-day walking tour, we'll visit New York's most renowned sites. We begin by exploring highlights of Central Park, including Strawberry Fields, the Lake, the Bow Bridge, Bethesda Fountain, the Sheep's Meadow and the Mall. We'll then head down Fifth Avenue, seeing the Plaza Hotel, Tiffany & Co. , and Sak's Fifth Avenue. We'll explore St. Patrick's Cathedral, Rockefeller Center, Radio City Music Hall (outside), the NY Public Library, the Chrysler Building and majestic Grand Central Terminal. We end our tour at the Crossroads of the World: Times Square. My NYC expertise allows me to maximize our time, so we'll explore more sites than tourists typically see in five hours. And you'll have a richer experience, hearing a local perspective and the fascinating stories behind the famed sites. This private walking tour is a superb introduction to New York City and ideal for those looking to explore NYC more deeply.

We arranged a private 5 hour tour with Jeff for 10 people. He picked us up from the apartment in SoHo where we were staying at and directly pointed out interesting details on the street in front of the entrance, making us aware of the history of this area and making us enthusiastic for the rest of the day. He is a great communicator who knows how to intertwine well known history with interesting details keeping everybody’s attention. He does not just send information, but really creates a nice narrative. The tour was tailored to our interests visiting sites in SoHo, the financial district and around Broadway finishing at a nice diner that Jeff recommended. All in all we had a great to day with Jeff, learning about the history of NYC. Really recommended!
