I'm a native New Yorker and I have a great love and knowledge of New York City, from Times Square and The Great White Way to Brooklyn and many lesser-known but no less interesting sites. We can visit Harlem, the home of Jazz in NYC and of course the Battery to view the Statue of Liberty. All of New York's neighborhoods have a story to tell - from Wall Street to Central Park West where many celebrities dwell. I tell true and fascinating stories of New York's past and more recent history. I'll give you something to write home about. We'll step into St. Patrick's Cathedral and take in the magnificent architecture, the brilliant, soaring, gilt bronze 57 foot ciborium over the altar, and the magnificent stained glass windows. St. Patrick's is the seat of the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of New York. Directly across Fifth Avenue from the Cathedral is Rockefeller Center. It comprises 19 buildings, the first 14 of which were built between 1930 and 1939. The center was built by John D. Rockefeller Jr. and provided a great economic boon to NYC during the great depression. Over 50,000 construction workers were employed in building the original art deco buildings of Rockefeller Center.
- St. Patrick's Cathedral - the Baptistry in St. Patricks - Shrine to Mother Elizabeth Anne Seaton, the first American born Roman Catholic Saint - The crypt below the altar with the remains of every Roman Catholic Archbishop of New York - The shrine to Our Lady of Guadalupe - Rockefeller Center - Statue of Atlas, directly across the street from St. Patrick's - Statue of Prometheus, presiding over the lower plaza - Radio City Music Hall, yes it's a part of Rockefeller Center
