Statue of Liberty & Ellis Island - Half Day Tour with Licensed Guide

On Liberty Island you will be treated with a hefty dose of pride and anecdotes around the most popular statue in the world! You will have the option to visit the pedestal and, you will have access to the brand new interactive museum (included) as well as all of the grounds for out-of-this-world picture opportunities! I will guide you around this magnificent monument while showing you some of my favourite sites that can be viewed from the island. You might even be able to catch a glance at the Queen Mary II making its bi-monthly stop in the harbour. We'll also visit the famous Ellis Island; the main entrance door to America for more than a half century. This experience is sure to move you and you may shed a tear or two as you discover the immigrants' quest for the American dream. Oh, I almost forgot! This is also one of the most beautiful views of Manhattan as seen from this Island! Simply breathtaking. . . Don't forget to take pictures, all your friends will be jealous!

·After meeting either in front of the main entrance of Castle Clinton or at your hotel (according to preference), we'll head to the ferry station to get on board towards Liberty Island. ·On arrival you'll visit the grounds, the pedestal, and potentially the crown (if you requested a reservation far enough in advance), plus the island's interactive museum with 3 interactive galleries. ·Afterwards, we'll re-board our ferry (at the same place where it left us prior) and we are off to Ellis Island. ·Once we're there, we'll start seeing its monuments such as the American Immigrant Wall of Honor. ·Then, we'll visit the Ellis Island Immigration Museum, where we'll take in the stories of the millions of immigrants who came through here from 1892-1954. You will also have access to more museums if you wish to! ·At the end, from the same pier, we'll get on our ferry to return back to Castle Clinton and complete this round trip through history!
