The Wonders of Downtown Manhattan include the Brooklyn Bridge, New York's City Hall - the oldest continuously utilized city hall in the U.S., the Woolworth Building, the former Newspaper Row, and The Beekman Hotel in the former, magnificent Temple Court Building. On Wall Street we'll see the Federal Hall Memorial Building on the site of the first Capitol Building of the United States, where George Washington was inaugurated, April 30, 1789. What a wonderful time in NYC thanks to out wonderful tour guide Matthew. It was truly a delightful and informative trip. Matthew gave us all the ins and outs of Manhattan from shoreline to skyline. A walking encyclopedia of his town. Just wish we had more time to spend with him. Maybe on our next trip.
Matthew was a great guide, he had lots of local knowledge we found very interesting Loved what we learned about Grand Central Depot/Station/Terminal, the sound beneath Times Square and the survivor tree. Would definitely recommend his tours!
