I am a life-long New Yorker, and a 5-borough enthusiast (the history, architecture, geography, art, green spaces, and secret spots). My goal as a guide is to make you just as at home here as a local does. My tours help you explore and take a deeper appreciation of my city's architecture, art, history, and culture. I specialize in walking tours, small-groups only, especially for those who are looking for a deep dive or something off the beaten path. These tour model also now ensures the safest way to explore a city. I believe that a tour isn't just about seeing a place; it's about experiencing it, on the ground. New York City has so many sights to see, and so many ways to see them. Maps, guide books, etc, can cover only the basics. I aim to offer something more personal and fun. . . and ultimately memorable. The beauty of New York is that no matter how many times you have visited, or how long you lived here, there are always new places to discover. I have a passion for my city, and I know that you will too after your time with me. Licensed New York City Sightseeing Guide by the NYC Department of Consumer Affairs Board Member, Guides Association of NYC (GANYC) I have been interviewed by NY1 News, Medium.com, and Metro. All tours are designed for exploration on foot, the truly local way to experience NYC, using public transit or Uber where needed. A driver to the starting location can be arranged on request, if absolutely necessary, or I can accompany you in your vehicle.

On this 2-hour art-filled walking tour, I will show you the coolest street art in NYC. I have spent years exploring and documenting NYC's street art scene, and by having me as your guide, I will share my insights with you. I regularly speak to these artists so I can share their stories! As we walk these streets, I will explain the origins of the graffiti art-form, and how it has evolved. We will discuss the different techniques that you see in the art. Most importantly, you will see dozens of unique and colorful pieces, of all sizes and types: traditional graffiti, massive murals, wheatpaste, & much more. Artists whose work we will see include: Invader, Eduardo Kobra, Shepard Fairey, Tristan Eaton, & others. You will also see pieces from the ambitious 100 Gates Project, which paired street artists with small businesses to beautify the area's roll-down gates. This is a leisurely tour, comfortable for all-ages. Perfect for photographers or those interested in learning about street art.
Our tour will begin in trendy Nolita, on Bleecker St. We will wander the art-filled streets of the Lower East Side, ending near Little Italy and SoHo. We will visit: -The infamous Bowery Wall -First Street Art Park -The mecca of the NYC wheatpaste art world -See work curated by the LISA Project in Little Italy -Several installations by Invader: learn how he turned art exploration into a worldwide game! -And more walls and art along the way! Because the art is constantly changing, every tour is unique! At the end, I can provide my local recommendations on where to eat and shop in these historic areas. **For a larger group, please inquire for a quote.
