I have been guiding in NYC for over ten years. With a background in acting, I have learned to bring my all to every tour as if it were a stage performance. My expertise covers every Manhattan neighbourhood as well as many in Brooklyn. Are you perhaps looking for food tours? I got you covered. Do you want to see Midtown Manhattan, Harlem, Lower Manhattan, or the Brooklyn Bridge? Get ready to see the sights with me! We can make everything into a part of your vacation that will all comes together with a sharp sense of humor and a gentle heart. During the last decade, I have put a great deal of effort in studying the events of 9/11 with a focus on the stories of individuals from that day, and the specifics on how the building collapsed. Don't hesitate to contact me if you want to create a customized experience for your time in New York, I'll be happy to elaborate a tour that covers all your interests and preferences!

The East Village boasts more restaurants per capita than almost any neighborhood in NYC. With an ethnically diverse community, one can find virtually every type of cuisine here. On our tour we will come across a delicious array of diversely flavoured cuisines including: Greek-American Split pea Soup with fried croutons, delicious classic-tasting NYC pizza, authentic Dolmas (Grape Leaves), Ukrainian varenyky (vegetable filled cabbage rolls), perogis, delicious egg cream drinks, up to 8 different flavors of Korean Dumplings, and Italian pastries such as cannoli and sfogliatelle. And don’t worry, if you want to taste many or all of these, we'd still walk off the calories as we explore the history and culture of the East Village, from the Dutch colony of the 1600s, to the 1800s when the neighbourhood was known as Kleindeutschland, (Little Germany). We'll also see famous locales made popular during the counter-culture scene of the 1950s and ‘60s to the punk rock explosion of the 1970s and 1980s.
·Once we've gathered in Astor Place, we''ll head to "The Famous Cozy Soup N Burger" known for their amazing Split Pea Soup & grape leaves. ·Afterwards, we'll see the historic "Public Theater" as well as Cooper Union & Peter Cooper's statue. Depending on your mood & the time of day, we could all go in to McSorleys Ale House for a half pint (or more!). ·Then we'll get a slice & some garlic knots at Ray's Pizza which has East Village's history painted on its walls. ·Later, we'll get to see St Marks Place & Eliza Schuyler Hamilton's mansion. ·Next, we'll head to 2nd avenue where I'll tell you of several tragedies that changed the shape of the block. However (yet not on a Monday) you could also enjoy delicious Egg Creams & see the Orpheum theater. ·From there, we'll see many historic brownstone styles & head to Brooklyn Dumpling which offers many dumpling options. ·Well end the tour at the beautiful Michael Jackson mural & Venieros bakery, NYC's 2nd oldest one, with a huge variety of cannolis & desserts!
