Aloha! My name is Charlie! I was born and raised in Hana, Maui, Hawaii, and I've been specializing in tours to Hana since 2005. Hana is a very special place to me and I would be honored to share my history, culture and home with you, not just the "Local" way, but from a Native perspective as well. With over 20 years of driving experience, on one of the most beautiful places in the world, I've done over 3, 000+ tours on Maui, majority of those tours, on the road to Hana and still loving it. Growing up there, was the whole world to me, on this little island paradise. I never thought I'd be doing tours this long but my guest's who I consider "extended family" have told me over and over again to never stop sharing the beauty of this place the history the culture and especially the importance of it, to its people. I've not only had the opportunity to share my home with people of all walks of life, but I've had the honor to learn of multiple cultures and diversities outside of Hawai'i, and realize that we share many similarities, beliefs and ideas and are not too different at all. Being the most isolated population in the world, we have evolved into a true multicultural and open minded locally diverse people, and I welcome you to join me from all corners of the world to experience paradise and the true meaning of Aloha! Charlie met us at the port and we had a great tour of half the road to Hana. Charlie shared local knowledge and took us to great spots. Be aware that the road trip is very popular, so there are lots of tourists at most stops (but Charlie was able to get us ahead of them many times). We really enjoyed our tour.

The road to Hana was super fun with many interesting stops along the way and Charlie was very accommodating with some of us who had motion sickness. Charlie was great on our road to Hana tour. He was funny gave us good information about the island of Maui and gave us plenty of time when we stopped. Never felt rushed. He is an excellent driver on very narrow and windy roads. Highly recommend him for any tours in Maui.
