The Road to Hāna-Full Day-starting from Kahului

Charlie was fantastic. He’s funny, knowledgeable and drives really well. We enjoyed our day immensely. Maui and the people are extraordinarily beautiful. Each stop was more beautiful than the next. Highly recommend this tour.

Charlie was a fantastic tour guide on the Road to Hana, he was friendly , personable, easy to talk to and took us to all the main places to see. If you are looking for a private tour guide look no further than Charlie. You will not be disappointed, well worth the price.

This is the rating for the second day in Maui with Charlie. After the long first day of the road to Hana, this second day is much shorter and more relaxed. My family enjoyed being at the Whaler Village with the shops and restaurants but I wished we were seeing different unique spots and not being dropped off at a crowded tourist place for the second half of the tour. Nevertheless my family enjoyed the afternoon there. Thank you Charlie.

WOW! This was a fantastic tour and Charlie was a wonderful tour guide. The combination of his sense of humor and knowledge about this area and the islands made for an entertaining and enjoyable day. Our group of 4 wanted to visit the Hana Maui Botanical Gardens, so Charlie helped us create an itinerary to suit what we wanted to see and experience. We had our own rental car and have driven in many different countries on winding roads, but having Charlie drive was the best decision! There are so many 1 lane sections and when you don’t know the road, it would have been quite challenging. Plus he stopped at the best places and knew where to park the van when it looked like parking spots were full. I would HIGHLY recommend this tour with Charlie!

Wow, Charlie was born and raised in Hāna and definitely knows details about the vegetation, shoreline, best photo ops, etc.. He treats you like extended family and introduces everyone as his aunt, uncle or cousin!! Above all he has the best sense of humor and is so laid back. After several hours with him, we felt we were saying goodbye to our family. Thank you Charlie, we miss you!! Patty and Donna!!

Charlie was the penultimate guide and comedian during our day in paradise with him. He is charming and extremely well-versed in island fauna, flora and lore. His vehicle is spacious and immaculate. The lunch he provided was delicious. The itinerary was perfectly planned from start to finish. He is a safe and conscientious driver. His love and respect for his native culture is apparent. Charlie is a joy everyone should be so lucky to experience.
