Atakan's tour of Cappadocia was excellent. He was well-organized, polite, informative of the history of the area and even added personal insights into the culture of the people. He tailored the trip according to our preferences ie. hiking. We couldn't have asked for a more enjoyable, worthwhile tour. We would recommend asking for him directly....you won't regret it.
-Start the day with a visit to the Three Beauties which are the best examples of fairy chimneys and the official symbol of Cappadocia. -Then we will hike along the Red & Rose Valley which are the most breathtakingly and mysteriously beautiful valleys of Cappadocia. -Our hike will end in Cavusin Cave Village where we will see a rock castle and troglodyte dwellings where people lived until the 20th century. -After lunch in a local restaurant we will descent towards the center of the earth, with a trip to the Underground City of Kaymakli which is one of the largest and most fascinating multilevel underground settlements of Cappadocia. This incredible underground world contains courtyards, stables, churches and wineries all intertwined in an extensive network of tunnels. -We will end the day with a visit to the Pigeon Valley where we will see the best examples of rock-carved dovecotes and pigeon nests. -Feel free to contact me if you would like to customize this tour!
