Major Highlights of Antalya Full Day Tour

We visit major sites of Antalya on a day tour. The tour is a great combination of history, culture and natural aspects of Antalya. We will drive to Side ancient city, that once it was the largest slave market in Mediterranean and reached its zenith during Roman imperial period. We will walk in town center and visit temple of Apollo, and then, have a break at Manavgat waterfall. After lunch we drive to Aspendos to see the best preserved roman theatre in the world. It was built by architect Zeno in 2. century A. D. It has been very well restored and estimated capacity is around 15. 000. It hosts annual Opera festivals in the summer. Our last stop is Perge, an extensive greco-roman city. According to excavations it has been continuously inhabited since bronze age. It reached its zenith in the 2. century A. D. Today, a rich collection of that period is exhibited in Antalya archeological museum. We will visit the stadium, helenistic towers, baths, the agora and recently restored roman streets and more.
