Antalya: Kaleiçi Walking Tour and Gözleme Making Experience

Join me for a guided walking tour through Antalya’s historic old town, Kaleiçi. Together, we will explore its charming cobblestone streets, hidden corners, and iconic landmarks, while I share local stories and insights into the city’s culture and everyday life. After our walk, we will visit a small, family-run business for a warm and memorable experience, where you will learn how to prepare traditional Turkish gözleme. This experience offers a wonderful opportunity to connect with local culinary traditions and leave Antalya with a truly authentic memory.

I will meet you at Hadrian's Gate, the entrance to Antalya's Old Town (Kaleiçi), where we will begin our experience together. Enjoy a relaxed walk through its historic streets while visiting highlights such as Hadrian’s Gate, Yivli Minaret, the Clock Tower, Old Harbor viewpoints, and the Ethnographic Museum. Along the way, I will share local stories and insights into Antalya’s history, culture, and daily life. After the walk, we will take a comfortable vehicle transfer to a small family-run business for a traditional gözleme-making experience. You will learn how the dough is prepared, how to roll and shape it, and explore classic fillings like cheese, spinach, and potato. You may join in hands-on or simply watch as it cooks on a traditional sac (griddle). Finally, enjoy your freshly made gözleme with a cup of traditional Turkish tea before we conclude our experience at Hadrian's Gate, our original meeting point.
