Antalya Full Day City and Waterfalls Tour / Shore Excursion

Excellent tour of Antalya to get a sampling of the city and sights. Our guide, Mehmet was very organized and a wealth of knowledge about the old town Keleici. We walked around seeing walls, churches, mosques, narrow streets going back through time to more than 2000 years ago. Fascinating. Also, spectacular view of the harbor and Mediterranean. The two waterfalls we both stunning in different ways. Upper Duden falls included hiking near the river and falls and going in a cavern behind the falls. Lower Duden was awesome as it falls many meters to the sea over the clifts. We enyoyed Mehmet's sharing of his personal knowledge and history growing up in Antalya. We also must mention the lunch at the marina. We all decided to share in Mehmet's favorite dishes -- a good decision! Finished it off with strong turkish coffee! A great experience and a memorable day.

Enjoyed our day with Mehmet! He picked us up in a super comfortable SUV with a fantastic driver. We had a great time at both the upper and lower waterfalls! And then we spent the rest of the day exploring the old city. He provided us with great historical perspectives and local insights. Pleasant and personable and was life traveling with a family member. Looking forward to our next trip with him!

Great tour by Mehmet. He had the best vehicle for any TBL that we have done, larger van, refreshments, and even wi-fi! He did a great walking tour of old town and the new marina area that was very informative in addition to other sites. Mehmet helped us better understand the history and culture of Antalya! The four of us had a wonderful tour with Mehmet around Antalya. Our friends were first timers with Tour by Locals and were very impressed with custom van that we were picked up in. The city and history were great to learn, the waterfalls were beautiful, and the restaurant lunch was excellent. He customized the tour as we went along. Took picture for us. We saw so much of the city - from the two beautiful waterfalls to the old town, where we had delicious "local food" for lunch at a harbourside restaurant, while enjoying a spectacular view.
