Merhaba!(Hi!) I am Mehmet Isik. I'm 55. I'm an experienced, licensed tour guide and driver. I have been working in tourism since 1992. In 2014, I upgraded my tour guide licence and I am now able to do tours in these regions of Turkey:- Mediterranean, the Black Sea, Central Anatolia, East Anatolia and South East Anatolia. I have lived in Antalya for more than ten years, but I was born in Adana. I joined ToursByLocals in 2013. I'd like to welcome you to Antalya and show you this beautiful area of my country. Enjoyed our day with Mehmet! He picked us up in a super comfortable SUV with a fantastic driver. We had a great time at both the upper and lower waterfalls! And then we spent the rest of the day exploring the old city. He provided us with great historical perspectives and local insights. Pleasant and personable and was life traveling with a family member. Looking forward to our next trip with him!
Great tour by Mehmet. He had the best vehicle for any TBL that we have done, larger van, refreshments, and even wi-fi! He did a great walking tour of old town and the new marina area that was very informative in addition to other sites. Mehmet helped us better understand the history and culture of Antalya! The four of us had a wonderful tour with Mehmet around Antalya. Our friends were first timers with Tour by Locals and were very impressed with custom van that we were picked up in. The city and history were great to learn, the waterfalls were beautiful, and the restaurant lunch was excellent. He customized the tour as we went along. Took picture for us. -I will collect you from your hotel at your chosen start time. -We will drive to the old town - Kaleici, in the center of Antalya. -We will walk through the streets of this historic old town, past Ottoman houses, and absorb the history we are surrounded by. I will advise you about Roman, Selcuk and Ottoman buildings as we see them. -We will then walk down to the Marina and have lunch by the sea. -In the afternoon, we will drive to Lower Duden waterfall which cascades down into the sea. -After that, we will go to Upper Duden waterfall. You will have time to walk around photograph and enjoy the splendor of these amazing waterfalls. -I will drive you back to your hotel in the late afternoon.
