Dougga is an ancient city has a variety of beautiful monuments with the influence of its cosmopolitan population: native Berbers, Greeks, Carthaginians and Romans. In this tour you will enjoy the different monuments, streets and houses of the ancient Dougga - often called Roman Pompey of Tunisia. The visit is at your pace and with your private guide. Among the monuments we will visit are the Lybico-Punic Mausoleum - one of the most amazing and wonderful monuments in the world. I had a wonderful time with Ali on his tour to Dougga. He was a very knowledgeable guide and all around nice guy. We were picked up on time at the cruise port and had ample time to visit Dougga followed by time walking around the old medina in Tunis. His driver did a good job and the SUV car was very clean and comfortable. When I go back to Tunisia, which I hope to do I'll definitely give Ali a call.
I was only in Tunis for the day and wanted to make the most of it. Ali was in contact via Whatsapp prior to arrival and was waiting for me at the airport. He took me to Dougga, another ruins site, lunch, and to get a Covid test I needed in Tunis - before returning me to the airport. It was a pleasure to ride with him as he shared facts about Tunisia and the sites we visited. Overall - I enjoyed our time together and would recommend Ali to others.

In the morning go to Dougga, visit the following monuments: - Roman theatre - The forum, the market and the main temples - The Lycinian baths - The Severus Alexander arch - The Lybico-Punic Mausoleum . Lunch time. . End of the tour and return to the hotel/ship. Any special request you may have, do not hesitate to ask.
