4-Hour Historical Walking Tour of Valencia

This is an approximately 4 hour tour, that can be customized to fit your walking needs and pace. If you'd like to see the best of Valencia's over 2000 year old history, then come with me, an avid history lover, well-studied offical guide and did a Masters in history at the University of Valencia (and a published translator of a history text book on Food Consumption in Medieval Iberia. I will bring the layers of history alive for you and show you how tangible our history is here: from the Roman ruins below our city, to Moorish cultural and political remains, to Valencia's medieval Golden age, Rococco dabblings, the affects of the Modernista age and the industrial revolution here. We can also see Valencia's role in the Spanish civil war and its modern recovery from it, whilst enjoying our pleasant stroll in and out of historical and cultural buildings, plazas and neighborhoods. And it's all very visible, to a "stone whisperer" and I help interpret their murmurs to us from a bygone past.
