Hello! My name is Blanca, and I am an architect with a PhD specializing in heritage, urban studies, and Andalusi architecture. My story is deeply intertwined with Granada and the Alhambra, as I come from one of the few families who have lived within its ancient walls for generations. I grew up calling this monumental complex my home, an extraordinary playground and a place that shaped my passion for architecture, history, and preservation. Inspired by this unique upbringing, I pursued a Master’s in Architecture and Historic Heritage, and later completed my PhD at the University of Granada. My professional experience includes restoration and enhancement projects in the Alhambra and other historic cities, as well as years of teaching and research at prestigious universities. Additionally, I am a member of the Andalusian Academy of Gastronomy and Tourism, driven by my passion for local products and Andalusian wines. This diverse background has given me profound insight into the hidden details of my homeland, allowing me to share its rich culture in a truly immersive way.
