Greetings! Welcome to Puerto Rico "The Island of Enchantement" When I was a 16 year old boy working in the Southwest of the island in the Municipality of "Lajas, La Parguera", I got my first car and drivers license and decided to get lost in the Island of Enchantment Puerto Rico. Ever since i've been piling up contacts, photos, directions, information and unique experiences to share with my friends. During those days it never crossed my mind that I would end up doing this for a living and to support my family as my main source of income but it came true after working in different hotels, restaurants all over the island, Meeting Planning and finishing up my bachelors degree in Tourism Arts at the Sacred Heart University in Santurce. Sincerely I have been very fortunate to be able to work on my own as a tour operator and tour guide becoming licensed by the Tourism Company of Puerto Rico. In my 48 years of age I believe that this beautiful paradise is a lot more than a small archipelago of islands and this is true thanks to our people, our customs, traditions and a very rich culture that makes us unique. We locals are in love with our island and is the reason why I wish to share how beautiful and interesting it is with everyone that visits. This web space is a service area more than anything else to all travelers and individuals that love to get away and find themselves in a different country and/or enjoying with family and friends while learning something new along the way. I would pick up at your metropolitan area centered hotel, cruise ship or Airbnb and head to Luquillo municipality in the northeastern part of the island. We would then head down into the river on a local's well kept trail. Enjoy the rainforest and the river like the locals do! Swim, jump, slide at the naturally carved waterslides and get inside a nice waterfall. After the river we can go to a good local restaurant to have lunch and then afterwards we would discover a beautiful hidden beach, visit the visitors center "El Portal" where you could observe and take pictures of the Puertorrican Parrot (El Yunque's most endangered bird), a nice Zipline or instead head to "Carabali" to drive the ATV's and/or go horse back riding. You guys decide!
Hector was amazing He is charismatic, professional and friendly , While my daughter went to Hacienda Carabali for 2 hours riding ATV my husband and myself went to the river and Hector helped me to go down after pick my daughter up and heading to Luquillo . The description that Hector stated on his tour was beyond expectations. Next time that you book a tour do it with him.

Our tour with Hector was so much more than we could have ever imagined. We got a true look into not only the beautiful landscape of the river and waterfalls, but also the rich Puerto Rican culture. He led us through the Luquillo area, introducing us to local favorites, including artists, musicians and markets that cut mangos and pineapple on the spots. We learned about the history, wildlife, and recent turmoil that the island has been through. He is such a kind, positive person and musician that the community all knows and loves and he gives insight into why this island is so well loved. We will definitely call him next time we come and will recommend him to all of our friends. You will have a wonderful time with Hector. 5 stars all day!!
We would drive straight to the Luquillo mountains and visit some waterfalls, drops and very cool waterslides carved by the river. Safety first always this unique local adventure is for people that are a little more active and in good shape We would hike through to get inside the river for like 15 to 20 minutes. The tour guide will be with you at all times helping and getting you to the area through some big boulders at the river and giving information as we go. We could spend a couple of hours there swimming in the river waters of "El Yunque". Afterwards we could drive along the coast, get in the water at the beach and later recommend some nice places to eat. We could also design something custom instead of the beach if the group prefers we could include a stop in one of the following experiences: Rainforest Zipline's, horseback riding in the forest or ATVs.
