My name is Ann Elizabeth, and I am raised in Caparra, the first spanish town, I take much pride on that fact, as I am a truly city girl ;) I am an architecture and history enthusiastic. My mayor in college was in Theater Arts in the University of Puerto Rico and, I'm fluent in English and Spanish language, though can speak Italian at a conversational level. Some of my passions aside from history are dancing and arts. Overall I am an ultimate animal lover. Being a Hodophile, "one who loves to travel", an Ancient Greek word, on my second trip to Barcelona, I met two amazing tour guides that inspired me to become a tour guide in my country and to share with tourist my passion and how I see my Little Viejo San Juan. I changed careers from Visual Merchandising and Product Placement field in retail (which I also love) to come home and while working a full time job, studied to become a Tour Guide. As a child I use to walk through the old blue cobblestones street and imagine the life of the people and the stories of the lovers that walked the streets before me. Being a Virgo, I have made it my mission to research and learn how a city is developed and functions inside a military fortress. Join me on a tour for a complete interpretation of events and characters that helped shape a 500 year old city, the second oldest in the New World. A few of the things that I love of being a tour guide is the cultural exchange with my tourist and the personal connection that we build on this couple of hours. You see, I have a huge responsibility to host you in my country and make sure that you are enjoin your time with me and hopefully inspire you to want to return, but also to share the voices of those who developed this beautiful jewel that now we get to enjoy. If there is an specific request that you would like to see on this tour, feel free to reach out and I can accommodate it into our schedule.
