Hello everyone! My name is Stephanie. I was born and raised in Puerto Rico. I love living in this tropical climate in which you can go to the beach no matter what time of the year we are. Living in an island literally made me fall in loved with the beach and clear my mind with nature. I love to go on roadtrips and find new places in Puerto Rico. It always amazes me every hidden beauty I get to find. I never get bored of living on such a precious island. I love our music, our food is exquisite especially the "Mofongo" and our people are very friendly and they welcome you to have a good time. Since I started working as a guide I have been fascinated by everything I have learned about my island. It makes me very happy to be able to teach people from other parts of the world our history as Puerto Ricans. Puerto Rico has a lot of spectacular sites and the beaches all unique in their own way (Yeah, I think you have an idea of how much I love going to the beach). Apart from that I love to meet new people and make them feel comfortable, safe and teach them that Puerto Rico has a unique culture. I wake up literally every day to have a new adventure thanks to you. I have been doing tours for 4 years now. Puerto Rico is considered to be the Rum Capital of the World. In this tour you'll get to enjoy a visit through Ron Del Barrilito Distillery where you will learn its History and have a refreshing drink made by their mixologist. This Rum is the Oldest Puerto Rican Rum dated back to the year 1880. It has always been made in very small batches and It's aged to perfection in vintage American white Oak Sherry Barrels. Old San Juan is the second oldest city in the Americas founded in the year 1521. Sit back and enjoy the view. We'll be going by the Capital Building, Castles, Forts, Beaches, Cobblestone Streets, Art Galleries , Governor's Mansion and more. Stephanie is a great tour guide - very knowledgeable, friendly, enthusiastic, and very flexible and able to adjust the tour to meet your specific needs. The rum tour was very interesting, and there was also an informative tour of San Juan and its history, including a tour of the fortress. Stephanie even made an impromptu stop at a ceviche stand and I had the best fresh ceviche I have ever had! Highly recommended!
Stephanie was fantastic! She is most knowledgeable and very accommodating. I can honestly say it was the highlight of our trip. It was the first time to Puerto Rico for may college age daughter and the tour in Old San Juan was perfect to get the feel of the history of the island and a feel for the culture. Our trip to the Ron Del Barrilito distillery was great as well. The oldest rum distillery on the island, it was perfect for really seeing how rum is made. I would highly recommend Stephanie!!!
