I'm passionate about giving tours. I like to say that I'm retired because I love what I do and it doesn't feel like work. Most clients turn into friends after one or two tours with me because I like people to feel comfortable while taking tours, so I treat them like old friends that we haven't seen each other in a while. I love comedy and believe in the power of laughter, so I try to give all of my tours in the most fun way possible. I also love to get questions, so I'm always open to answer any question at any point during the tours. This combination of fun and openness, I believe, makes for a very relaxing way of giving a tour, so clients really feel in vacation while also learning about our history and our culture. My mentality is that if my clients are in vacation, they don't have to stress over the timing and length of tours, so I'm very flexible and try to accommodate as much as possible to my client's schedule. Passion, love, relaxed, fun and flexible are the key words that I go for when giving tours. You will experience the culture and beauty of a part of Puerto Rico not very well known to tourists. Going to the countryside part, west of San Juan to visit an accessible waterfall to take some pictures and enjoy its beauty, then you have to option of visiting a small community made around a natural spring and made public pool to see how the locals enjoy themselves, or a very calm nature reserve for an easy hike where we can enjoy nature, visit a cave and jump in a natural spring with clear water, or visit a beach with a very peculiar shape. Then stop for lunch at a food truck park or a local restaurant.

Excellent tour and guide. We especially liked where we stopped to eat On the ocean.
We had a fabulous time on our tour with Jorge. Can't wait to explore more of the island with him next time we come to Puerto Rico and will definitely recommend him to friends and family.
Jorge was great with my 7 and 9 year old. He knew how to find things that drew their attention and keep it age appropriate. For me he was able to talk about the more adult topics regarding education, history, and politics. I appreciate his punctuality and driving.
Jorge was a wonderful guide. He managed my large group beautifully, and we really were in locations with no other tourists! Although I am not agile enough to climb down to the swimming hole, the hike to it was really fun, and the bulk of the group that did go in found it to be a highlight of our trip! I had fun watching them from the top! Our lunch at a lovely local restaurant was outstanding!
Jorge was very proffesional and knowledgeable. We really enjoyed our time with him and he worked with us on our short time while at port. We loved the nature trail to the spring and seeing the bat cave. We didn't get to enjoy the spring because it was kind of difficult for some of our group to get down to and there were some locals there enjoying the day, but you can never control that. Thanks for a great day Jorge, and we appreciated you being able to get us back to port, in time dispite the traffic which can also not be controlled. PR is absolutely beautiful.
Picking up in the San Juan area, we'll drive west to the countryside towns of Arecibo, Manati, Vega Baja and Bayamon. After pick-up, we'll drive about 40 minutes west to the town of Arecibo where we will visit a waterfall. It is about 5 minutes walking from the parking space. Typically we spend about 20 minutes taking pictures and enjoying the cool mist from the waterfall. Next stop is a nature reserve in the town of Manati, about 20 minutes driving from the waterfall. After 10 to 15 minutes of an easy hike, we get to a natural spring with cool, clear water where we can cool down a bit. We can also walk about 5 more minutes and we can go inside a cave to see some cute small bats and possibly see some Puerto Rican boas (from far away). We can spend 30 or more minutes here. Depending on hunger, we can also visit a beach about 10 minutes driving from the nature reserve or go have lunch. There are options for lunch. There is also a possibility of visiting another natural spring (depending on time).
