I'm passionate about giving tours. I like to say that I'm retired because I love what I do and it doesn't feel like work. Most clients turn into friends after one or two tours with me because I like people to feel comfortable while taking tours, so I treat them like old friends that we haven't seen each other in a while. I love comedy and believe in the power of laughter, so I try to give all of my tours in the most fun way possible. I also love to get questions, so I'm always open to answer any question at any point during the tours. This combination of fun and openness, I believe, makes for a very relaxing way of giving a tour, so clients really feel in vacation while also learning about our history and our culture. My mentality is that if my clients are in vacation, they don't have to stress over the timing and length of tours, so I'm very flexible and try to accommodate as much as possible to my client's schedule. Passion, love, relaxed, fun and flexible are the key words that I go for when giving tours. We'll visit a hidden spot on the east side of El Yunque Rainforest and enjoy a day of sliding down a natural water slide and dipping in the natural refreshing waters of the rain forest. This spot is not well known to tourists so you'll get to see the beautiful part not too many people get to see. After all the fun and building an appetite, we'll go to the famous Luquillo Kiosks to have time to buy some souvenirs, drink coconut water straight out of the coconuts or have piña coladas made inside the pineapples and eat some Puerto Rican fritters before heading back to the hotel. There's 2 waterslides to pick and a small waterfall you can get underneath.
Fantastic!! Jorge was amazing! He was very knowledgable and guided us perfectly through the rainforest and to an incredible place for lunch! Jorge knows his stuff but more importantly is focused on keeping you safe and listening to your questions/wants/needs during the tour. We would definitely book him for another tour in the future!! We highly recommend him for ANY tour he hosts!
Jorge was amazing. He is a great communicator, safe driver and wonderful tour guide. He is a wealth of information about PR and went the extra mile to make sure we were comfortable and had a great time.
Jorge was really flexible with our group. We had a variety of ages. The youngest was 26 and the oldest was 75. he made it fun and great for all. PLUS we ate at a wonderful restaurant.
Jorge was an awesome guide! He was super friendly and it was very easy to communicate with him via text with any questions leading up to the tour. He picked us up right at our cruise port and took our group of 11 ranging in ages from 10 to 71 to the rainforest where we got to swim and play in the water. It was raining on and off and quite the adventure! We then ate lunch at a great restaurant with a view of the beach. I highly recommend Jorge!
Jorge took us and the experience was incredible. He was extremely careful - watching to make sure we were all safe as we went down the natural slide and swam under the waterfall. He really figured out what we liked and was willing to make adjustments in the tour which made it a perfect tour for us. We couldn't ask for more from a tour guide.
Jorge was very nice and full of information . It was not quite as exciting as we would of liked but one of our friend broke her leg so she was not able to do much. The guide did his best to have us all enjoy our day.
After picking you up in the San Juan area, we'll drive to the east of San Juan to the town of Luquillo. We'll drive through some towns on the way and get the most important aspects of them. When we get to Luquillo, we can visit a part of the Rainforest to enjoy the water slide. After enjoying the water slide and dipping in the refreshing waters, we'll head over to the infamous Kiosks to eat, drink and buy souvenirs and then over to dropping you back at your hotel. You can even get a piña colada made inside a pineapple.
