Hi. My name is Danny and I love living in this beautiful island called Puerto Rico . I am a born and raised local who always wanted to do something different in life. After I did my first tour I knew this was it for me. I felt free. I get to be part of someone's vacation, so in a way it feels like I'm in vacation too. I love it. I like touring the island a lot. Even though I live here, there are many places that I still need to discover. Hidden beaches, rivers, waterfalls and caves are very normal in Puerto Rico. Here you will never get bored. The music and the people are very welcoming The food is great. You should try the "arroz con gandules y pernil" or "alcapurrias" maybe the "mofongo con camarones". Im feeling hungry already. I have been doing tours over 10 years now. I am a certified tour guide with my own certified vehicles endorsed by the Puerto Rico Tourism Company. I have been a certified TourGuide since 2014. I honestly do not see this as a job, more as my passion. I love what I do especially because I have the opportunity to make people love this island as much as I do. My main goals are that visitors feel safe, learn more about our culture and most importantly, fall in love with the island. Join me and get to be part of our Culture and our Lifestyle! Cruise down the beautiful coastlines that Puerto Rico has. You'll get to stop on different beaches all beautiful in their own way. Some good for swimming and others better for just pictures. Feel our energy! Art is very important on this island. This is why we take you through towns covered with Art, where local artist express their talent with beautiful murals. Taste our traditional dishes like "arroz con gandules, pernil, mofongo, alcapurrias" and more. You may even taste our local beer like " medalla, magna, ocean lab" etc. We go through some "villages" so you can try our cuisine and learn a bit about our African heritage. Finally, have a look at Old San Juan. Get to see castles and forts built by Spain in 1500s to fight pirates or enemies that wanted to invade. Get to be a "boricua" for a day!
We took this tour to connect our children who are half Puerto Rican to their culture and heritage. Daniel could not have done a better job with showing the history, culture, art & food of Puerto Rico. I would enthusiastically recommend this tour and especially Daniel as a Tour Guide!

We had limited time in San Juan, so we were very glad to have this excellent tour with Danny. He is super knowledgable, funny, professional, and very accommodating. He knows so much about everything and happily answered the many (many!) questions we had. The tour included a nice mix of seeing the highlights of Old San Juan (with great recommendations for visiting on our own the next day — including piraguas (shaved ice) made by a vendor who only uses home made syrups—yum), as well as a visit to Loíza to learn about its cultural heritage, including bomba, and enjoy some local treats, a place we would never have known about without Danny. We enjoyed the tour from start to end and will be booking another with Danny the next time we visit (which won’t be soon enough!). Thank you, Danny!

Danny R was a wonderful guide. Arrived on time and was very informative. We have been to San Juan before but with Dannys' tour we now know what we were seeing. He took us all over to places we never would have seen. He was very funny and was able to answer all our questions. We shared stories about our lives which made it very special. Danny even gave us restaurant recommendations which turned out to be great! Great job Danny.
Daniel R and his wife, Stephanie, gave us a great tour of San Juan! Despite a rainy day, Stephanie toured us through old San Juan island. We stopped to review key elements of the fort, toured down key historic and shopping areas and learned so much from Stephanie, a native Puerto Rican. Lunch was outstanding with crisp empanadas and great ceviche appetizers. We toured the city where beautiful wall art renderings from international artists left us spellbound. If you want a great riding/walking tour of San Juan, you need to use Daniel and Stephanie!
This is a private tour that you could customize any way you want. Also if you have more than 5 in your party inquire a quote. We usually start visiting Old SanJuan. Here we stop at all the major sites like the Forts, monuments, Colorfull Buildings, cobblestone streets, Plaza del Quinto Centenario, Ballaja, Fortaleza Street, Capital Building etc. . we don't walk inside the forts. These are self guided and you can go inside after the tour. We leave Old SanJuan on our way to Loiza. Loiza is more about Culture, food and Lifestyle. Loiza is known for our African Culture. Here we stop to eat some local fritters or snacks. You can have Coconut water at the beach or try our local beers. Finally we go through Santurce where we walk like 3-4 blocks with Street Art Murals. They are part of an Art Festival done every other year. I give you some of the meanings that I know.
