Greetings! Welcome to Puerto Rico "The Island of Enchantement" When I was a 16 year old boy working in the Southwest of the island in the Municipality of "Lajas, La Parguera", I got my first car and drivers license and decided to get lost in the Island of Enchantment Puerto Rico. Ever since i've been piling up contacts, photos, directions, information and unique experiences to share with my friends. During those days it never crossed my mind that I would end up doing this for a living and to support my family as my main source of income but it came true after working in different hotels, restaurants all over the island, Meeting Planning and finishing up my bachelors degree in Tourism Arts at the Sacred Heart University in Santurce. Sincerely I have been very fortunate to be able to work on my own as a tour operator and tour guide becoming licensed by the Tourism Company of Puerto Rico. In my 48 years of age I believe that this beautiful paradise is a lot more than a small archipelago of islands and this is true thanks to our people, our customs, traditions and a very rich culture that makes us unique. We locals are in love with our island and is the reason why I wish to share how beautiful and interesting it is with everyone that visits. This web space is a service area more than anything else to all travelers and individuals that love to get away and find themselves in a different country and/or enjoying with family and friends while learning something new along the way. You'll enjoy a nice shore excursion! And it could be designed anywhere around the island. This one describes stops at Old San Juan, Piñones in Loiza and the Metropolitan Area. Is good to know that the coastal drive can be done anywhere in the island, just ask the tour guide to include other places desired or close to where you are staying. If you need pick up outside of the metropolitan area / San Juan, please contact me before booking this tour. It's all private and custom made and you can make changes if you like to include anything within the city. I will recommend things to do along the way.
Only word: Thanks so much Hector. Tour was a bit customized cause we skipped Pinones but thanks to him we lunch at el Jibarito. Delicious authentic Puerto Rican food . He was right mentioned the best pina colada at Barrachina. Highly recommend Hector
I wish I could give Hector 100 stars instead of the 5 they give you room for lol!! My Hubby and I spent the day with Hector and it was absolutely the highlight of our 2 week, Puerto Rican adventure. Whatever it is you want to learn more about Puerto Rico, Hector is your man! History, the music scene, culture, day to day life even where to get the absolute best Mango I’ve ever had!! Hector knows the secrets of this beautiful island and he shared them in a fun, fascinating and joyful way. He is passionate about this island he has called home his entire life. Do not hesitate…. This tour is everything and more we had hoped for. We hired a guide and at the end of the day left having made a friend. Gracias for an amazing day Hector! Hector was a bundle of information. We learned so much history of Puerto Rico and saw places in Old San Juan we had not seen before. We wanted Cheviche for lunch and he took us to a great local spot with lots of local color. Food was great. Great job Hector!
Hector was awesome. He was on time for pick-up and took us around old and new San Juan, stopping whenever we wanted to take a picture. He also took us to a small off the beaten track beach for some sea glass collecting, which I had requested. We had lunch at a local dinner (which was awesome) and pina coladas at another beach. He dropped us off at the airport in plenty of time to catch our flight home.
Hector was absolutely fantastic! Very knowledgeable about the history of Puerto Rico. Answered all of our questions. He brought us to unique places that fit the type of things we enjoy to do. He was willing to stop whenever and wherever for us. We got off a cruise and he picked us up and dropped us off with perfect timing. He also introduced us to the best ceviche we’ve ever had! Thank you Hector, can’t wait to go back to Puerto Rico!
Hector is an incredibly warm and knowledgable tour guide. He loves Puerto Rico and has so much history to share. We enjoyed a great tour of Castillo San Felipe del Morro in San Juan and a lovely seafood lunch by the sea. Hector is very flexible and accomodating. Thank you Hector!
You'll enjoy a nice shore excursion with stops in Old San Juan, Piñones (Loiza) and other areas around the Metropolitan Area. All my tours are very flexible, ask the tour guide to design something custom made just for your party, for example we could spend some time at "La Placita" market plaza in Santurce, visit the "Barrilito" rum Distillery, made in PR since the 1800’s or instead visit The Bacardi Factory largest rum producers in the world known as the Cathedral of Rum. You will be able to see our monumental forts, walk along cobblestone streets, enjoy a frosty "Piña Colada"! You'll see excellent examples of Spanish colonial architecture, and have some free time to walk along recommended areas and visit the world famous forts and landmarks or have free time to visit: dunes, coastal reserves, a cave, artisan houses, fruit vendors or explore a beach while learning something new along the way!
