I'm passionate about giving tours. I like to say that I'm retired because I love what I do and it doesn't feel like work. Most clients turn into friends after one or two tours with me because I like people to feel comfortable while taking tours, so I treat them like old friends that we haven't seen each other in a while. I love comedy and believe in the power of laughter, so I try to give all of my tours in the most fun way possible. I also love to get questions, so I'm always open to answer any question at any point during the tours. This combination of fun and openness, I believe, makes for a very relaxing way of giving a tour, so clients really feel in vacation while also learning about our history and our culture. My mentality is that if my clients are in vacation, they don't have to stress over the timing and length of tours, so I'm very flexible and try to accommodate as much as possible to my client's schedule. An approximate 2. 5 hour drive to the southwest of the island going through different towns where I'll explain each of the town's uniqueness and the diversity of the panorama. Once we arrive at La Parguera, you will enjoy an approximate of 3 hours in the area, including a boat ride to the Bio-Bay, an explanation of why the water glows and some time to dive in and swim in the glowing water. Yes, you can do that here! This is the only Bio-Bay in Puerto Rico where you can swim in the glowing waters. When we get back, you will also be able to buy some souvenirs from the local artisans and then we'll get you back to your hotel.
We had a great time. Jorge let us know what was happening every step of the way. Even let us know that he should pick us up a little early because of heavy traffic. The Bioluminescent Bay was fantastic. The Captain and crew explained everything to us about what we were going to see and do. Including all of the safety items associated with going out on a boat. I would highly recommend this tour and making sure you have Jorge as your guide. Thanks!!
We had a great trip with Jorge! He was friendly, professional and our drive to the bio bay was seamless. The bio bay did not disappoint! An amazing experience and worth the long drive from San Juan.
Jorge was absolutely amazing. He is incredibly knowledgeable across many topics of conversation involving Puerto Rico and we feel priviledged to have explored this beautiful island with him. I would highly recommend Jorge for any visit, we only wish we had more time to spend!
This an amazing experience! Being able to swim in the Bioluminescence Bay is a once in a lifetime chance. Jorge was a great guide - he was a very careful driver; his minivan was clean and well taken care of. It was a joy!
This tour was the best thing we've done in San Juan by far!! Jorge was professional, funny, knowledgeable, patient and made t he 2.5 hour ride simply fly by. He was super helpful, and we simply could not have been more pleased. Swimming in the Bio Bay was a once in a lifetime experience (with only 5 total in the world) and completely amazing. Also, the Captain and crew were experienced and did everything in their power to make this trip a lasting memory. Worth every cent.
Really worth doing and a lot of interesting history on Puerto Rico, microclimates, etc. we were really pleased. Jorge was wonderful. We will look him up on future trips.

Pick-Up (at metro area) to drive through the mountainous center of the island to get to the southwest. - Time to be at La Parguera to have fun walking around, take pictures and do some souvenir shopping. - Then after the boat ride and swimming, we head back to drop you back at your hotel around midnight.
