We begin the day with an early pickup from your hotel in Cusco at 4:30 a.m. and travel south through beautiful Andean landscapes and traditional villages. We can stop if you want to have breakfast in the town of Cusipata before continuing toward the Waqrapukara archaeological complex, enjoying impressive views of the mountains and the Apurímac Valley along the way. We arrive at the trailhead around 8:30 a.m. and prepare for a moderate hike suitable for travelers with a reasonable level of fitness. The hike takes approximately two hours along scenic Andean paths with a gradual ascent. Upon arrival at Waqrapukara, you will explore this impressive Inca site with your guide, learning about its history, architecture, ceremonial plazas, and terraces, while admiring breathtaking views of the Apurímac Canyon. After the visit, you can enjoy lunch. Finally we return to Cusco, arriving around 6:00 p.m.
