My name is Ruth, I was born and grew up in Cusco, the cradle of the Inca culture. I am one of the 5 children of a couple of fathers coming from the Andes and with classic Andean customs. I learned from my parents the importance of work, perseverance, and the greatness of our ancestry. The Quechua people and the Incas. I am a determined and a fighter. I studied for 5 years at the local San Antonio Abad University of Cusco. I am very friendly and respectful. I like listening to music (especially Andean music) and I love good food, I can recommend to you the best places to eat Peruvian local food. I consider myself a lover of the Inca culture. I want to share, not just the history and knowledge with you but also our customs and our ways of life. - I have a guide card issued by the College of Graduates in Tourism, this card certifies the entrance to the tourist sites. - I have a degree as a Tourism graduate, issued by the National University San Antonio Abad of Cusco I will organize a transport with an adequate and certified driver. Thus the excursion will be more organized and assisted this way.

This is the short version of the traditional "Inca Trail" for those who have less time available but wish to participate in this spectacular journey. This trek starts at km. 104, the route passes through magnificent Inca archaeological sites Chachabamba, the complex of Wiñahuayna with its stunning panorama, liturgical bathrooms and agricultural terraces, Inti Punku (Sun Gate) to 2. 650 meters above sea level, from where we will see a stunning sunset in Machu Picchu and then continue to the town of Aguas Calientes where we spend the night. DAY 1: -05:00 AM Pick up from the hotel in Cusco to take you to Ollantaytambo train station -Train from Ollantaytambo to the Km 104, starting point of our trek. - Guided visit to the archaeological site of "Chachabamba" (2250 masl) -Hiking of 3 hours towards to the fascinating archaeological site of "Wiñaywayna" (2650 masl) passing through majestic places -Time for tasty box lunch (included) -Hiking to the semi-tropical forest to the "Intipunku" (the Sun Gate) where we can enjoy the first panoramic view of the majestic "Machu Picchu", descend to Machu Picchu citadel -Bus Machu Picchu town - Overnight at selected hotel in Machu Picchu town DAY 2: -08:00 AM Bus from Aguas Calientes to Machu Picchu -09:00 AM guided visit to Machu Picchu -12:00 descend from Machu Picchu to Aguas Calientes -Time for Lunch (not included) -16:00 hrs aprox train back to Ollantaytambo -Bus back to Cusco. -20:00 hrs aprox. For the tours I wil provided you van with all licences 10 seats, Peru Rail or Inca Rail train tickets, Consettur buses tickets (Train and Conssetur bus tickets is not private. we share this with other tourists, Train with 60 passengers in the carrige, bus with 30 passengers in the bus) The first day of the tour is mostly of the time by walking.
