Cusco is not only about culture and tradition, it is more than that, it is energy, spirit, gastronomy, and pure adrenaline. Hello, my name is José and I was born in the city of Cusco, I come from parents who were born in towns very far from Cusco, and one day they decided to move to Cusco to give their children a better education. I am the fourth of 11 siblings and I love what I do, which is sharing the living experiences of my people in my city with all the travelers from different nationalities. I have been working in the tourism industry since 2000. My first job was in a hotel, then in a restaurant as a waiter. There I had the idea of studying to be a tour guide. When I finished in 2007, I went on an adventure traveling by motorcycle almost all over my country. Then I started hiking on the famous Inca trail that connects with the citadel of Machu Picchu, until now that I have been walking on the famous Inca trail approximately 400 times. I have many experiences to share. Part of my education is Peruvian gastronomy, I studied as a chef for 2 years and I like cooking. Currently, I guide large and small groups to all the tourist destinations in my hometown Cusco, the Capital of the Inca civilization. I invite you to visit my country, my city, to live experiences that you will never forget. Don't forget that life is a journey and to travel is to live twice. *Professional tour guide Graduated from private guiding school "Antonio Lorena" *Annual first aid, rescue, and altitude sickness training *Specialization course in cultural, traditional, and adventure tours *Official tour guide recognized by the Peruvian Ministry of Culture (DIRCETUR) Register number 1437 *A-2 B Driver's license no restrictions

If you join me on this tour, you will enjoy 2 days in the Sacred Valley of the Incas plus Machu Picchu citadel. The Sacred Valley tour is very unique because over there is located one of the most colorful handy-craft Markest from Cusco region where you can bargain with the local vendors. Then you will have the opportunity to taste the local empanadas and local snacks like corn cob (choclo con queso). Lunch will be in Urubamba town where you will enjoy local food or the rotisserie chicken in a local restaurant. This is up to you. I can also recommend restaurants around the area. The visit of Ollantaytaytambo incan site will be full of history. The train ride to Machu Picchu town or (Aguas Calientes town) will have stunning views of the Urubamba river, the tributary river of the amazon, the largest river in the world. The overnight in Aguas Calientes town will be nice as well because you will discover this very charming town. I can share a more detailed itinerary via message. Feel free to contact me.
