Perolniyoc Waterfall, Raqaypata y Ñaupa Iglesia (Full Day

This full-day tour offers a unique blend of adventure, history, and Andean mysticism as you explore three extraordinary sites in the Sacred Valley of the Incas. The experience takes you to the pre-Inca and Inca site of Raqaypata, dramatically set on a mountain ridge at 3,460 masl (11,350 ft), with sweeping views of the valley and the impressive Perolniyoc Waterfall below. You will also visit the waterfall itself, a stunning natural attraction cascading approximately 35 meters, offering a refreshing and scenic highlight of the journey. The tour concludes at Ñaupa Iglesia, a mysterious and sacred huaca that continues to be used for traditional offerings, reflecting the spiritual legacy of the Inca civilization.

We pick you up from your hotel at 7:00 a.m. and enjoy a scenic drive to the community of Socma, where we stop to stretch our legs and take in the beauty of this charming Andean village. From here, we begin a peaceful hike to the impressive archaeological site of Raqaypata, a pre-Inca and Inca site majestically located above the Perolniyoc Waterfall. As you explore its ancient walls and terraces, your guide will share fascinating stories about its history and importance to the region. Afterward, we hike for approximately 30 minutes to reach the stunning Perolniyoc Waterfall. Our next destination is Ñaupa Iglesia, a mysterious and spiritual site reached by a 30-minute uphill walk. This sacred huaca is considered by locals to be a powerful place of energy, believed to have served as an interdimensional gateway or portal during Inca times. Here, you can experience a deep sense of peace and connection. Finally, we return to Cusco, arriving at approximately 6:00 p.m.
