Maras Moray Salt Mines tour, a day trip that takes you to discover unique landscapes, impressive natural and cultural attractions, at the northwest from Cusco. Moray is an inca site at scenic spot, that has circle terraces, that has being built by Incas as agricultural research center, amazing place recommended for everyone, same as the Maras town with pretty mud brick walls, and stone portrait doors. The Salt Mines are in use since hundreds of years ago, it produces salt since pre-inca times, where nothing has changed, same craft work, inherited by native Peruvians from Maras district. For this tour, we can depart from Cusco city, the airport, or from your hotel at the sacred valley, with no extra charge by bringing you to Ollantaytambo train station, to catch your train to Machu Picchu town. Optionally, We also can include, chinchero and or Ollantaytambo for free. The rate is up to 04 people, if you are more, just let me know so I can adjust the rate and bring bigger transport.
We contracted Bryan to provide us tour services over a number of days. He provided us with historical information about all of the sites we visited. He and his driver were excellent. In addition to all the archilogical sites we visited he also took us to traditional silver and textile shops to learn about how these crafts have been handed down through time. Bryan is exceptionally good.

We had an absolutely amazing few days with Bryan in August 2023. He is very knowledgeable, flexible and so excited to share the history of his city. His breadth of knowledge about all things Peru is astonishing, from history to present day. His comprehension of the history of Incas brings the whole experience alive. (optional earlier or late start upon request; I will meet you at your hotel. -Drive to Maras's town, where we'll see nice stone-carved gateways, narrow streets -Then drive the last 7km.
