When I was a schoolboy I realized I really love sharing my local culture, tradition and history with others, meeting new people and making friends. I was also good at learning English. Have you ever seen the most impressive ancient architecture? You probably have (or not), but let me take you to see them and uncover the facts behind that made it possible to build such an imposing constructions. There is no site better than Saqsaywaman to see gigantic buildings and the tour itself is a Must-See close to the Cusco city as acclimatization to this altitude. This can be either a morning or afternoon tour according to your preference (let me know it before booking).
Absolutely the best way to start your Cusco adventure! Roger was passionate and knowledgeable. He met us at our hotel and added a stop at San Pedro market for a real local experience. The ancient architecture and advancements of the Incas came to life with his tour of these incredible archeological sites.
Had a great half day city tour of Cusco - Roger was our tour guide and he was fantastic - excellent English speaker. Roger has a wealth of information about each area we visited. He spoke loudly and clearly and was a joy to be with. He was able to answer all of our questions clearly. We start with the pickup at your accommodation either at 9:00 AM or 2:00 PM to introduce you to the history of Cusco, we commence at the main square to then catch our transportation and drive close to out of the city to Saqsaywaman where we can see such huge elaborated limestone rocks built up on zigzagging walls, which just being there is amazing. Also we look over the city from the viewpoint. Then, we continue to the 3 remaining sites that are Qenqo, Puka Pukara and Tambomachay. And finally we return to Cusco with the drop-off at your Hotel around 2:00 PM (Morning touring) or 6:30 PM (afternoon touring). Additionally we could visit the temple Qoricancha into the city prior to request, if would like then feel free to let me know. The tour is customizable with Pisaq or other site according to your interests and time.
