The town is covered with dignified silence with many testimonies to tell the story of the former glorious times of this, today half empty, town. It looks frozen in time, the clock stopped in the 18C. For this reason it is called the "Museum in the open air". Its people not only completed the building of the most beautiful Baroque palaces and churches, but also performed an extraordinary architectural achievement: they made unique man-made island where they built a church, in the middle of the sea to house miraculous painting Our Lady of the Rocks. Sailor or not, this is the best place to pray to Our lady to stay safe on your journeys, including you life one. Do you have a proposal to make? The church is one of the most popular places for weddings. Maybe we will be lucky to witness one? And we will save the best for rest of the tour - Kotor!
Your Kotor tour itinerary
- Meet at the arranged location to start the tour. - We will start by walking trough Kotor to see the city's most iconic places. - Drive to Perast along charming Bay of Kotor for approximately 30 minuntes. - Here we will take a short boat ride from Perast to the island Our Lady of the Rocks with visit included. - You will have around 45 minutes to discover Perast on your own or rest your legs and enjoy the views. - After this, we will drive for about 30 minutes and arrive back to Kotor to drop you off. Itinerary as well as timing can be adjusted to meet your needs. "
