Dear traveler. Thank you for showing an interest in visiting our beautiful islands. Being born and raised in The Netherlands, my first visit to Malta was in 1988. I fell in love with the islands (and with a Maltese man. . . ) and moved here permanently in 1990. I have a diploma in Tourism Studies and have always worked in this industry, which I love. I furthered my studies to become an official Tourist Guide and obtained my license in 2000. To me, being a Tour Guide is one of the best professions in the world. I get to surround myself with new, interesting people from all over the word, while enjoying the outdoors. Not to mention, show them all that Malta has to offer. And that is a lot! So whether it is the history of the islands you are interested in, or you wish to experience our culture, to find out more about life on a Mediterranean island, to get a taste of the local delicacies or to simply just enjoy beautiful scenery, bays and views, I am here for you regardless. So kindly do get in touch by booking a tour or contact me directly if you prefer a more customized experience. I hope to meet you soon! ·Official Tourist Guide License since 2000 (license nr 698) issued by the Malta Tourism Authority ·Diploma in Tourism Studies I am not a driver-guide. For tours that require transport an air-conditioned car or van will be booked.

Valletta is not just a city, it's a planned city. Literally drawn on paper, built with a strategy by the Order of the Knights of St John. This UNESCO World Heritage site is an amazing city where fortunately quite a lot of beautiful buildings from the Knights era can be admired. On this tour, we'll roam through the streets, admiring the fantastic view over the impressive Grand Harbour. Let's pass by some Auberges of the knights while getting the vibe of the authentic Valletta and maybe stop for a coffee and traditional "pastizzi" at the iconic Cafe Cordina. A definite must-see is the St Johns Co-Cathedral. Another piece of heritage from the Knights with a very impressive interior. Any other museum can be visited on request. On a personal note, whether it's during the day, taking clients around, or in the evening going around the streets where you'll find live music on every corner in Summertime, I genuinely love this city. It would be my pleasure to tell you all about it.
·We'll start at the entrance to Valletta with the Triton fountain. ·At the entrance, we'll pass by the New Parliamentary building and the Old Opera House. ·We'll then walk through the city passing by the church of Our Lady of Victory and Auberge de Castille. ·Next, we'll visit the Upper Barakka Gardens with a magnificent view over the Grand Harbour. ·We'll continue our walk through the city, passing from Auberge d'Italie and St John's Co-Cathedral ·A visit inside St John's Co-Cathedral is possible, but an entrance fee should be paid directly. ·We'll later walk towards St George's Square with the Grand Master's Palace. ·Afterards, we could stop for a typical snack and a drink at Cafe Cordina if desired. ·At the end of the tour, since no transportation was involved, you could opt to stay in any spot of Valletta to do some shopping, have lunch or maybe visit some more museums that I could point you out to. I could also give you directions to go to a desired location. This itinerary could be customized.
