This traditional fishing village is full of color and character, with its iconic luzzu boats bobbing in the harbor. The waterfront is lined with restaurants, and the market adds an extra layer of charm. It’s the kind of place where you can slow down, enjoy the sea breeze, and soak in the authentic Maltese atmosphere. Hagar Qim Temples — A Journey Back 5,000 Years Visiting Hagar Qim felt like stepping into another world. These megalithic temples are older than the pyramids, and standing among the massive limestone structures gives you a real sense of Malta’s ancient soul. It’s a must see for anyone who loves history, archaeology, or simply being in a place with deep meaning. Blue Grotto — Nature at Its Most Spectacular Just a short drive away is the Blue Grotto, and it’s every bit as magical as the photos suggest. The cliffs are dramatic, the sea is impossibly blue. It’s peaceful, refreshing, and one of the most beautiful natural sights in Malta. Even the viewpoint from above is worth the trip on its own. Our tour with Trudy was fantastic! She arranged for a driver and gave us great information on Malta while we drove to the sights. She customized the tour for us and worked with our time limitations. She fit in a variety of sights and photo stops and we enjoyed it all. She fun, knowledgeable , kind and patient and we really enjoyed our time with her. A must do tour when you are in Malta!!
