Welcome! My name is Victoria and I live in Gharghur, North East of Malta. I am a licensed, professional tour guide since 2005. For several years I have been informing and entertaining visitors from across the country and around the world about the sights and history of our beautiful country. Tour guiding was always my dream. At school, history was always my favourite subject and visiting places of interest was my biggest pleasure. I fulfilled my dream when I was 17 years. I was accepted by the Malta Tourism Institute to participate in the Tour Guiding Course. After 2 years of an intensive full time course, the Malta Tourism Authority had recognized me as one of its qualified guides. Being a tour guide is an exciting job that introduces you to people and places average travelers and tourists never experience, but it also requires solid skills and knowledge. To ensure this, I participate in various seminars and events in my field. Recently, I participated in a tourism-related EU funded project, consisting of an intensive course equivalent to the level of a Diploma in Tourism Management. I will be more than happy to help you plan your holiday or show you the most interesting places in the Maltese Islands, either by visiting the oldest free-standing temples in the world, the UNESCO World Heritage city of Valletta, the medieval town of Mdina, the island of Gozo steeped in tradition, or by following one of the many nature trails. Besides the popular traditional tours I also offer a number of excellent themed itineraries for all the different types of groups and ages and have been recommended by many including National Geographic. Together we can design a programme which suits your interests best. I have a passion for where I live and I have many ideas for exciting trips that I could take you on. I look forward to meeting you! Diploma in Tourism Managment Licensed by the Malta Tourism Authority # 828 17 years experience in Tourism Member of the World Federation of Tourist Guides Association (WFTGA). Always best to email me regarding availability. It is recommended that you contact me before placing a booking. In Malta, guides are allowed to guide groups of maximum 50 pax.

Considered one of Malta's most famous attractions, the beautiful Blue Grotto is an extremely unique natural phenomenon. Our day and the time we start the tour is flexible and is meant to accommodate your schedule and interests. You may board your boat and travel along the rocky coastline to the massive arch which marks the entrance to the Blue Grotto. Here you will see six caves carved by years of relentless pounding by the sea, of which the Blue Grotto is the largest and most impressive. You may also visit the prehistoric temples of Malta which are unique in all the world. They are the oldest standing stone structures which remain to us from ancient times. They are older than Stonehenge and older than the Pyramids. Because of their uniqueness and beauty, these temples are deservedly designated as UNESCO World Heritage Sites. Afterwards, enjoy some free time to explore the marketplace at the typical fishing village of Marsaxlokk or drive to the beautiful 'Ghar Lapsi' bay for swimming (Summer only).
Our day and the time we start the tour is flexible and is meant to accommodate your schedule and interests. Drive to Wied iz-Zurrieq and see the Hagar Qim Temples. This is an optional visit. If not interested in visiting we can make a brief photo stop of the external view. Drive to the Blue Grotto and stop for a panoramic view of the impressive natural rock structures. Since the boat trip is optional, free time will be given at the Blue Grotto. One may join the boat ride, swim or wonder around the little harbour where one may find various cafes, restaurants and souvenir shops. Drive to the quaint fishing village of Marsaxlokk and enjoy some minutes of free time for independent sightseeing including exploring the market place and taking photos of the colorful Maltese fishing boats. This can be replaced by swimming at 'Ghar Lapsi' Bay. The rocky shoreline here is perfect for snorkelling enthusiasts and the inlet makes a good entry point for divers. Wear comfortable walking shoes.
