Hello, I'm Francesco, packed your bags? I'm waiting for you to have an amazing experience with me in Campania, the region for which I've been an official guide since 2014. I live in the charming and delightful city of Salerno since I moved from Teggiano, a medieval village nested in a beautiful valley from "Cilento and Vallo di Diano" National Park, where I grew up breathing art and history, and where I developed a passion for archeology. I cultivated this passion by graduating in archeology in Naples and taking a Master's degree at the prestigious "La Sapienza" University of Rome. I had the opportunity to excavate in prestigious and dreamy places, such as the archaeological site of Pompeii and the slopes of the Palatine Hill, at the foot of the Colosseum. I improved my English by moving to Nottingham, UK, where I studied at a local English school and worked in an Italian restaurant, an experience that allowed me to broaden my human, linguistic and personal horizons. The desire to return home was strong though, so I returned to Salerno, where I qualified as a tour guide. Thanks to this new job I was able to cultivate my other two passions such as travel and good Italian food and wine! But above all, I was able to start a family and now I am the father of two wonderful children. During the years of Covid-19, I worked as a teacher, which allowed me to improve my ability to relate to kids of different ages. In these years I think I've gained considerable experience and knowledge in my work that I'll put behind making your Italian holiday a unique experience. I hope to introduce you to a treasure chest of wonders from archaeology to gastronomy, art & culture found in Campania. I can't wait to accompany you along the divine Amalfi Coast, but of course, I want you to better appreciate my heart and soul which is Salerno, the place where I really feel at home and where I try daily to make visitors feel special. So if you are looking for an expert and passionate tour guide, do not hesitate to contact me! Licensed tourist guide of Campania Region since 2014. Master degree in Archeology at the University of Rome "La Sapienza". Bachelor's degree in Conservation of Cultural and Archaeological Heritage at the University "Suor Orsola Benincasa" of Naples. I am not a driver. I can accompany you in your vehicle or I can arrange for a separate car and driver.

Do you really want to understand why the Amalfi coast is so famous all over the world? Join me on this half day tour and I will truly let you discover the uniqueness of the colors and the spectacular views that make this stretch of coast unique. You will have the opportunity to enjoy it both from the water and from the ground, from the ferry and from panoramic terraces. We will take this ferry from Salerno to Amalfi where a taxi will be waiting to take us to the delightful village of Ravello, situated on a cliff overlooking the coast, where I will guide you while you discover its history and most beautiful viewpoint. This is located in the ancient Villa Rufolo, where Wagner found the "magical enchanted garden of Klingsor". We'll then return to Amalfi to appreciate the ancient history of the Maritime Republic and its artistic and architectural beauties together. You cannot miss my suggestion to enjoy a good glass of Limoncello or some of the best desserts of the Amalfi coast while you're here!
