Ciao! My name is Rosa, I’m a professional walking and hiking guide across the Amalfi Coast and the Cilento National Park. I’ve been exploring these paths since I was 12 years old, and that childhood passion has become my life’s work and what I love to share with my guests today. I believe the best way to discover my region is on foot—it’s the most relaxing and truthful way to connect with the land. I think my tours are specials because I prefer the authentic places, where you can experience the real life. I prefer to think people coming here as travelers, not only tourists so I plan my tours by asking myself: "What would I want to experience if I were visiting this place for the first time?" Together, we’ll escape the crowded places to find "secret" spots reachable only by ancient trails. Along the way, it’s common to meet local farmers with their donkeys or working in the fields. They are as curious about you as you are about them, often stopping for a friendly chat that makes you feel truly welcome. To travel is also to taste! I'm a foodie and I love to share my favorite local spots—from family-run organic farms to home restaurants tucked away in vineyards. We can have a mozzarella-making class, a Limoncello or Wine tasting or plan a pasta workshop. People are very proud of their places, generous in sharing their knowledge and they will make you feel part of the family! I specialize in small, intimate groups (typically 4-7 people) to ensure a high-quality, personal connection. However, I can host up to 12 guests and I am happy to customize every detail based on your pace and preferences. Join me for an experience that will leave you with lifelong memories. I’m sure we’ll have a lot of fun—I can’t wait to meet you! * Licenced official guide of Vesuvius National Park from 2008 * part of AIGAE (Italian Association of Excursions Guides)from 2012 to 2021 * part of LAGAP (Italian Association of Professional Guides for Excursions) from 2022 * IELTS Certification in English Language - level C1 Advanced (UK in 2011) I cannot guide inside archeological sites, museums and churches. I can do city trekking tours or walking, hiking and trekking tours along paved path or mountain walks

Salerno is a nice and small town located at the side of the Amalfi Coast. It's pretty enjoyable with its nice "lungomare", a long walk along the sea, with its tiny alleys and the slow atmosphere of the south of Italy. We walk through its historical center reaching the highest spot with an astonishing view of all the bay. Along the way we discover the different layers of history: the roman forum and the medieval part with monasteries and beautiful palaces. You can visit the Minerva Garden(closed on Monday), marvelous gardens of the first school of medicine, settled in terraces overlooking the bay. Vietri sul mare is the town of ceramics, many shops and factories producing pottery with different styles, classical with lemons and donkeys or modern. Vietri is also a typical town of the Amalfi coast, tiny alleys, local shops and local life....and beautiful views on the bay. You will love it! At the end of our tour we can have an aperitivo with local products or a pastry in one of the best cafe.
* We start our walk from the very new Piazza delle Libertà on the seaside and we go into the historical center through the oldest and small alleys of the town * Along the way we discover the less known part of the old Salerno town, dating back first to roman time and then to medieval time. * We reach the highest spot of the town with an amazing view of the bay surrounded by a gorgeous nature * On the way back we reach a local train station and we reach Vietri sul Mare in 5 minutes. * we have a stroll into the town with its ceramic shops, the tiny alleys looking like a labyrinth: groceries, pastry shops, fish shops and local life of a small town of the south of Italy Technical details: Duration: 2 hours walking with few stops Elevation: in Salerno a little uphill for 100 meters and then downhill for the same altitude; Vietri sul mare is flat Terrain: the historical center all paved in cobblestones
