This is a private and relaxed Etna experience combining an easy walk through volcanic landscapes with an exclusive Etna DOC wine tasting and a traditional Sicilian lunch in a private setting. After pickup from your hotel or cruise port, we head to Monti Sartorius on the northeastern side of Mount Etna. Here we enjoy an easy walk suitable for everyone, discovering lateral craters, solidified lava flows and unique volcanic vegetation, including the Etna birch. We then continue to one of the most authentic villages on Etna’s slopes, Milo, the only area where Etna Bianco Superiore DOC is produced. In a private home surrounded by vineyards, you will enjoy an Etna DOC wine tasting led by a top local female sommelier, followed by a traditional Sicilian lunch prepared by a well-known local cook. The experience takes place in an intimate setting, with just a few tables on a terrace overlooking the vineyards, offering a truly authentic Etna experience.

I would definitely use Vincenzo again. He greatly exceeded our expectations. His local knowledge of history, geology, vegetation, food, and culture is superb. He is charming and fun to be with. He would often stop the car or when walking to explain different things we were near like plant life or geology. A perfect day!
