After graduation I worked on wildlife projects with the University of Catania always striving to combine my professional career with my true passion, show my beautiful and beloved country to all people who came here and sought authentic and local experience of Sicily and Catania. Step by step I started to work as a tour guide for several local companies. I put a special attention in selecting the best locations, from historic landmark buildings, from the main towns to the unique countryside locations and natural local beauties. My land is rich of stories dating back from the distant mists of time and due to the different dominations that took place in different stages of our journey through time. So what else can I say? Myths that are still retold today, culture and tradition as old as humanity itself is what you will experience on this tour. Our journey will begin here admiring the beautiful Cathedral in Baroque style, and experience the chaotic local fish-market with a nice walking through the narrow streets of Catania. After a short tour by car we will arrive to an that is rich in beauty, landscape, geology, history, myths and legends. Two coastline fishing villages, Acicastello and Acitrezza home to Homeric legends in the Odyssey. Welcome to Catania, Unesco World Heritage Site!

We had an amazing tour with Roberto in Catania, Aci Castillo and Aci Trezza. He is very knowledgeable, personable and informative. He adjusted the tour specifically for our schedule and preferences and got us back to our cruise ship on time. I highly recommend!
Unfortunately, Roberto was ill and could not provide our tour. However, his substitute Paolo was wonderful. Paolo was very knowledgeable about the Catania as well as My Etna. He provided details about all the sites and leveraged his PhD in vulcanology to help us understand the importance of Etna for Catania’. He was “at our disposal” and customized our trip - also served as the official photographer! Would definitely recommend Paolo!
Roberto was a fantastic tour guide. The first day, he took us into the heart of Cantania and we experienced its fascinating culture. Thoughout the tour, he was very knowledgeable and made the city's information very interesting. Roberto knew just where to eat and we had the best food. The seaside adventure was beautiful with the added benefit of hearing about its history and stories. Being a local, Roberto knew the back ways and just how to go about seeing Mount Edna. Had we been on our own, we would have not seen the beauty of the mountain. Roberto made it a tour to remember and cherish.

We had an absolutely fabulous time with Roberto. He was extremely knowledgeable and very fun and friendly. The tour was thorough but relaxed. We did not feel rushed but saw everything we wanted to see and then some. Roberto made our time in Catania very special.
