A perfect tour for Achitecture lovers, to discovery the magnificent baroque palaces and churches of Catania, that belongs to a Unesco site called "the late Baroque town of the Val di Noto (South-Eastern Sicily)". Doing this walk along the city centre with me, an architect that works on the restoration of monuments and knows secret details, will make the tour so special for you! We will visit the gorgeous private Palazzo Biscari, the most beautiful baroque palace of Catania with a wonderfull ballroom, Via Crociferi, also called the "holy" street of Catania for the presence of several Churches, Convents and Monastry, Via Etnea, the University Palace and other hidden tresaures, with also a panoramic view of the city centre from the terrace of the dome of Badia's Church.
