Namaste, Dear Travellers! My name is Atiq, and I feel incredibly fortunate to have been born in this beautiful city, Agra, renowned worldwide for its historical significance, cultural richness, architectural marvels, and, of course, the Wonder of the World: the Taj Mahal. I believe there is no greater privilege than serving as a tour guide in such a celebrated city, and it is a true honour to represent Agra to visitors from every corner of the globe. I am a government-approved tour guide, certified by the Ministry of Tourism, Government of India, having earned my license through a rigorous process of examinations and interviews conducted by the ministry. My journey in tourism began in 2007 as a front office executive in the hotel industry, and I have been working as a professional tour guide since 2010. Over the past 16 years, I have gained extensive experience and insight through thousands of encounters with travellers from around the world. I hold a Master's degree in Medieval Indian History from Agra University, along with diplomas in both the German and Arabic languages. Photography is another deep passion of mine - so if I am your guide, you won't need a separate photographer to capture your memories along the way. I offer a wide variety of standard tours in and around the city, as well as fully customised itineraries tailored to your specific interests and needs. My tours are fact-based and comprehensive, designed to give you an in-depth understanding of the culture, history, traditions, customs, and people of this remarkable city and country. My aim is to create an experience that is both enjoyable and enlightening — one that reveals the rich diversity that makes this such a unique and unforgettable place to visit. My services include: Private tours in India, Historical tours in India, Wildlife tours, Tiger safaris, Cultural & heritage tours in India, Golden Triangle tours, Rajasthan tours, Train journeys, Village tours, Educational tours, Religious tours, Business tours in India. Local experiences: Henna art, Indian weddings, Food tours, Photography tours, Cooking classes, Shopping & handicrafts, Bicycle tours of the Old City, Spice markets, Tuk-tuk tours, Bazaars, Festivals · A day with a traditional Indian family Because I believe every guest deserves personalised attention, I intentionally keep my tours small. The safety, comfort, and well-being of my guests are always my highest priorities. It would be my greatest honour to be your guide in India, and I will do everything in my power to make your visit truly unforgettable - filled with stories, discoveries, and lasting memories. Thank you sincerely for taking the time to read about me. I look forward to welcoming you to Agra.
