I was born and raised in the beautiful island of Roatan. At an early age, I was faced with the decision to work or go to school, so I started looking for the kind of work that would allow me to do both. While looking for a job, a friend told me to come and work as a tour guide in the meantime, and I discovered it was the perfect job for me. I had never thought that tour guiding was a possible job before. I got a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration and went on to get what I always thought as a "real job". However, after only one week on the job, I realized that I was not doing what I loved, so I quit and started working as a bar waiter on a cruise ship. I travelled the world for 3 years and got tired of being away from my family for so long, so I came home and started working in the construction industry, but I did not like it either. Then I decided to give tour guiding another shot and immediately fell in love with showing others what is so special about my island and country! The 8 "bay islands" are one of 18 states of Honduras, and Roatan, Utila and Guanaja are the 3 biggest islands. We are part of the second-largest reef system in the world surpassed only by the great burial reef of Australia. I recently started my own tour company where I offer unique experiences full of history, gastronomy, nature, coral reef sightings, and tradition. I provide my clients with private tours while sharing my knowledge of the island and taking clients to the best spots on Roatan. What are you waiting for to come to Roatan? Let me turn your visit into an unforgettable experience! Enjoy a private adventure on the beautiful island of Roatan. Get a glimpse by exploring the West side of the island, from the local town of Coxen hole, Sandy Bay, and West End, to the small stores that whip up organic chocolate and rum cakes. There's several points of interest as we make our way to the West Bay rum cake factory. Stop at the Roatan sign for a photo op of you and your loved ones. I'll also take you on a scenic drive on the southern side of the Island where the local population is found, as well as through the West side of the Island, which is where most tourists are. We will make a stop in the beautiful community of Flowers bay, and see how the locals live. We will also stop at the monkeys and sloths sanctuary where you all will have the opportunity to interact and take pictures with the wildlife such as monkeys, sloths, parrots, guinea pigs, and much more. We will also have the chance to stop at one of the best local restaurants that serves some of the best traditional island food.
