Hello, I’m Josue Funez born and raised on the beautiful island of Roatan. I’m a proud father of four, a licensed tour guide, For the past 9 years, I’ve been sharing my passion for Roatan with travelers from around the world. I love what I do and feel blessed every day for the chance to show off the island I call home. When I’m not guiding tours, you’ll find me enjoying the beach, playing golf with my kids, or watching soccer with friends and family. I’ve had the honour of helping visitors experience the true magic of Roatan — from its pristine beaches and lush landscapes to its vibrant marine life and thrilling adventures. What sets my tours apart is the personal connection I bring. I love meeting people from all walks of life and making sure every guest feels like family. Whether we're snorkelling, exploring local culture, or simply soaking in the views, I’m here to make your visit unforgettable. Fluent in both English and Spanish, I ensure smooth, clear communication every step of the way. My goal? To provide not just a tour, but a heartfelt experience — full of warmth, authenticity, and island charm., If you’d like to customize your tour to fit your interests and schedule, we’d be happy to help create the perfect adventure just for you!" Come explore Roatan with me — and leave with memories that last a lifetime.

The East Side of the Island of Roatan is better known for its rich culture and history, with very small communities. One of the main ones is the little town of Oak Ridge, where you get to see most of the houses built along the water edge on steel, and people transferring from one area to the next in small canoes or speedboats. Did you know that most people here make their living on this side of the Island from the fishing industry or the water taxi transport? Kids go back and forth to school in the water taxi or by boat. It definitely is something more adventurous and unique for those who want to get away from the crowds. Glide through Roatán’s stunning mangrove tunnels on a peaceful boat ride, then meet friendly sloths and playful monkeys and feed tarpons and sea turtles at a local sanctuary. This is a perfect mix of nature, wildlife, and island charm—great for all ages!
