Hi, I'm Rudolph, and I've been a tour guide on the beautiful island of Roatan for over 15 years. As a local tour operator, I am dedicated to sharing the best that Roatan has to offer, specializing in tours with private transportation for cruise ship passengers and resort guests. I pride myself on integrity and responsibility. I know Roatan and its various communities very well. I work very well with all age groups, from children to our seasoned guests. Sharing the natural beauty, vibrant culture, and rich history of my island with visitors is something that I simply love to do. Meeting new people and introducing them to Roatan is my true passion. Rest assured, I'm fully licensed and certified by both the municipality and the cruise ship port, ensuring a safe and authentic experience for all my guests. I'd also be able to customize your tours, to include what you'd be most interested in, and see the most. Allow me to turn your visit to Roatan into a memorable experience Come explore the island with me!

On this tour of my beautiful island, you'll have the opportunity to explore Flower's Bay on horseback, going across lush local flora ans well as along the waterfront. These horses have been taken care of by a local family for the last decade. Now they currently have a dozen horses you could meet! I remember the first time I went horseback riding in Roatan, it took me back to my childhood seeing my grandfather going anywhere he needed to go on his horse, which was the way most people in the island got around. Horse-riding also goes back to the colonial times, and to this day, some locals continue to maintain this tradition alive. We'll also be visiting a chocolate factory owned by Spanish immigrants, where you'll learn of the process of chocolate-making and see it with your own eyes. In addition to that, I'll take you to see a shipwreck from over 3 centuries ago, of one of the first supply ships to have reached these lands.
-After picking you up, we'd visit the Airport Tower with its straw market where you'd have the chance to see handicrafts & artisanal products. -Next, we'd head to a Chocolate Factory where you'd get to taste freshly-made chocolates of different kinds. -Afterwards, we'd visit The Alexander Shipwreck where you'd observe the contrast between the remains of an 1800s ship & a commercial modern ferry taking passengers to the mainland. -We'll then go on a scenic route towards the horse-riding site. -On arrival, the horse caregivers will provide a safety briefing, covering the dos & don'ts of horseback riding and answer any questions you might have, making sure you're ready to go. -Then we'll get on the horses and ride along a jungle trail, as well as the coastline, until we reach the colourful Roatan sign. -We'll then ride back to where we started from, return to our vehicle and end the tour where it began. *Although this tour does not include a stop for lunch, one could be easily arranged on request.
Tell your guide which places matter to you, skip what doesn't, and tailor the experience for your group's needs. Not finding what you want? Message your guide to build something unique.
Depending on the amount of guests in a group, we'd use either a Hyundai H1 van or a Toyota Hiace van. A wheelchair accessible van is also available to use by request.
Coxen Hole, Bay Islands Department, Honduras
If you arrive to Roatan via cruise ship, make way to the Main Gate, and outside of that port terminal you'll come across people holding up signs, among whom you'll see me holding one with my name for easy identification! I could also pick you up from your hotel.
