Greetings from Roatan, my name is Janna, I was born and raised on the beautiful Island of Roatan and continue to call this small piece of paradise home. I love to travel and enjoy meeting people from all around the globe. I enjoy spending a lot of time on the water, whether on a boat above the surface or in the water snorkeling. My passion is cooking and I love to host guest at my dinner table. I left Roatan to pursue my higher education in Costa Rica and returned home and practiced for 5 years but really did not like being stuck inside the office all day. My love for cooking, entertaining guest, conversation and showing people around the Island got me into the tour industry. I now have the perfect job that allows me to do what I love, meeting new people from around the globe and showing them the beautiful island I call home, our way of life and the awesome people that live here. Overview of your Roatan tour
Embark on a small boat for a cruise through the beautiful mangrove tunnel that is covered by a canopy of red mangroves. You will experience a local side of the island, the place I grew up and continue to call home. We will cruise along the shoreline making our way to the mangrove tunnel taking in the scenery of the ocean and small town with homes on stilts and some over the water. Locals still commute frequently on the water using small boats and water taxis. The mangrove tunnel leads to a beautiful swimming lagoon with clear water and white sand bottom. A quiet and relaxing place on most days away from the crowds. Take advantage and snorkel around the mangrove roots and also the inshore rocks at Punta Caribe. Once you have enjoyed your time at the mangrove lagoon you will be treated to a homemade island lunch or Honduran lunch.
