Greetings from Roatan, my name is Janna, I was born and raised on the beautiful Island of Roatan and continue to call this small piece of paradise home. I love to travel and enjoy meeting people from all around the globe. I enjoy spending a lot of time on the water, whether on a boat above the surface or in the water snorkeling. My passion is cooking and I love to host guest at my dinner table. I left Roatan to pursue my higher education in Costa Rica and returned home and practiced for 5 years but really did not like being stuck inside the office all day. My love for cooking, entertaining guest, conversation and showing people around the Island got me into the tour industry. I now have the perfect job that allows me to do what I love, meeting new people from around the globe and showing them the beautiful island I call home, our way of life and the awesome people that live here. Overview of your Roatan tour
Snorkel the second largest barrier reef ecosystem in the world. You will see an array of marine life such as parrot fish blue tang, sergeant majors, sea fans, sponge corals and more. Keep your eye out for masters of disguise such as octopus and flounders camouflaging in the sand as well as gray stingrays. Roatan offers amazing visibility and snorkeling conditions year round with the barrier reef being only a few meters from shore. After you've completed your snorkeling adventure you can opt to shop for souvenirs, have lunch at a local restaurant or relax at the public beach. Bring your beach towel since there are no public loungers available. You will also be able to visit a small chocolate shop that makes chocolate and taste some of their free samples. Please note, this is not a factory, just a small shop that sells organic chocolate bars made on site.
