Hello, My name is Ioannis. First and foremost, I just wanna give you a little background about myself and what I do. I was born and raised in the beautiful island of Santorini. Every part of this island reminds me of different times in my life, and specially brings me good memories of my childhood. Just like my grandfather, I used to collect grapes during harvest time, which were used to make a local wine. Also, just like my grandmother, I liked picking cherry tomatoes to prepare the famous sun-dried Santorini tomatoes. I even remember in my early years when I used to play with friends in Caldera's cliffs, with a striking view of the volcano which for me then was something very scary. The last 7 years I have offered private tours as an expert local guide. My main passion is meeting people from all over the world and sharing my knowledge of the local history and culture. I am a truly passionate professional and my biggest wish is to show you as much as I can of my island, making your tour something really memorable! BA in History & Archaeology, Artistotle Univercity of Macedonia Officially Licensed by the Greek Ministry of Tourism to operate a Travel Agency. I do not have a license to give tours inside the Archaeological Site of Akrotiri.

Let's discover Santorini's south and soak up some local vibes! First stop: Profitis Ilias Monastery, a real slice of island history. Then, we hit up Akrotiri Archaeological Site to peek into Santorini's prehistoric past, preserved in ash. After that, you have a glimpse at Red Beach—perfect for some laid-back vibes and Insta-worthy pics. Then, we visit the iconic Lighthouse, where the views are straight-up magical. Feeling the beach calling? I take you to the unique Vlychada Beach with its overwhelming natural carved cliffs, relatively shallow waters and dark volcanic sand and pebbles. Optionally, you can visit the old Tomato factory. Next up, we wander the quaint streets of Megalochori, soaking in that old-school charm. And what's a trip to Santorini without wine? Venetsanos Winery's got us covered. We sip on some local vino, toast to good times, and watch the sun paint the sky in shades of orange and pink. Cheers to Santorini!
