Hello, My name is Ioannis. First and foremost, I just wanna give you a little background about myself and what I do. I was born and raised in the beautiful island of Santorini. Every part of this island reminds me of different times in my life, and specially brings me good memories of my childhood. Just like my grandfather, I used to collect grapes during harvest time, which were used to make a local wine. Also, just like my grandmother, I liked picking cherry tomatoes to prepare the famous sun-dried Santorini tomatoes. I even remember in my early years when I used to play with friends in Caldera's cliffs, with a striking view of the volcano which for me then was something very scary. The last 7 years I have offered private tours as an expert local guide. My main passion is meeting people from all over the world and sharing my knowledge of the local history and culture. I am a truly passionate professional and my biggest wish is to show you as much as I can of my island, making your tour something really memorable! BA in History & Archaeology, Artistotle Univercity of Macedonia Officially Licensed by the Greek Ministry of Tourism to operate a Travel Agency. I do not have a license to give tours inside the Archaeological Site of Akrotiri.

Enjoy Santorini like a local, starting with a scenic water taxi ride from the Old Port to Ammoudi Bay, below Oia, and avoiding the long cable car line on arrival. I will be waiting for you at Ammoudi Bay to welcome you and begin the land part of your private tour. Together, we will explore some of Santorini’s most iconic and beautiful places, including Oia, Imerovigli, Firostefani, Pyrgos, and Perivolos Black Beach. Along the way, I will share local stories, show you the best photo spots, and give you time to enjoy the views, villages, and volcanic landscape at a relaxed pace. The tour ends in Fira, where you can continue sightseeing, enjoy shopping, or have a drink with caldera views before taking the cable car back down to the Old Port.
At the Old Port of Santorini, you will take a scenic water taxi to Ammoudi Bay, below Oia, avoiding the cable car line on arrival and enjoying beautiful views of the island from the sea. I will be waiting for you at Ammoudi Bay, where we will meet and begin the land part of your private tour together. Our first stop is Oia, Santorini’s most famous village, known for its blue domes, whitewashed houses, narrow alleys, and breathtaking caldera views. We will then continue to Imerovigli and Firostefani, two of the best spots for panoramic photos of the caldera, the volcano, and the famous blue dome. After that, we will explore Pyrgos, a traditional village with charming alleys, Cycladic architecture, and wonderful island views. We will also stop at Perivolos Black Beach for photos, a short walk, or a relaxing seaside break. The tour ends in Fira, where you can enjoy free time for sightseeing, shopping, or a drink with caldera views before taking the cable car back to the Old Port.
