Before Santorini became the popular island it is today, the locals were mainly farmers, producing and exporting wine since 3000 BC. The wine produced in this small volcanic island has special characteristics and the way its cultivated is extremely interesting. As it was the main source of income , their lives , traditions, songs , the way they built their houses revolved around the winemaking process . This is the part we are focusing on this tour by visiting some of their traditional villages and then tasting 3 of the most representative wines .
We spent a wonderful day with Anna, and highly recommend her for your day in Santorini. She took us to some secluded places with outstanding views and is a very knowledgeable guide, especially if you enjoy learning the history of the area. She also provided an excellent driver, Angelo. They both were amazing catering to our "special needs" with 89 yr old mom. Thank you Anna. :)
Anna is an exceptional tour guide. She has extensive knowledge and very good timing. She was able to get us to some of the photo spots you see online with little or no wait to get our shots. Angelo, our driver, was also very helpful getting to locations to cut down our walking time. The conversations we had with Anna as we walked through Oia and while wine tasting were effortless. She felt like a new friend instantly.

I'll always be with you walking you through the alleys , explaining and pointing out all the interesting places . **If you are a cruise ship passenger you should know that the port in Santorini is tendered. You will be brought to the old harbor and then board the cable car to reach the main town. That's where I will be waiting for you so we can start our tour!Estimated start time for cruise ship passengers should be 60-90 min after your scheduled arrival .
