Along the way, we make a simple local stop, including a traditional gyros enjoyed the way locals usually have it — as part of everyday life, not a formal meal. We also sample Corfiot ginger beer, local olive oil, and a small selection of traditional products, each connected to daily life and local culture. The tour combines walking, light tasting, and storytelling in a natural flow, offering a genuine introduction to Corfu through people, food as daily habit, and place. We will meet at the entrance of the Old Fortress, by the statue of Matthias Johann von der Schulenburg. This is a central and easy-to-find location in Corfu Town. For cruise guests, most shuttle buses stop next to this area. If your shuttle stops elsewhere on the day, please let me know where it drops you off, and I will confirm the most convenient meeting point in advance by message. If you prefer a different meeting point within the Old Town, this can also be arranged and confirmed by message.
